The Mo Bro’s website was already performing well in the search results of major search engines such as Google. However, the e-commerce site hadn’t been reviewed since launch from an SEO perspective.

With this in mind, the Mo Bro’s team asked us to identify the opportunity, illustrate the potential return on investment and how we could build on their existing authority.

Based on our recommendations, Mo Bro’s commissioned us to complete a one-off piece of work to audit and implement technical SEO changes to help improve both the user’s experience and search engine result positions.

The team created several reports for the Mo Bro’s team; a list of technical SEO recommendations and changes we’d managed to implement, a full onsite keyword and meta-analysis with a comparison of old and new titles, descriptions and headings and a backlink audit with an updated disavow file.

On top of all this, we also created an SEO naming convention guide for all products additions moving forward to ensure the team working on the website can correctly optimise the site at the point of product addition.

After we correctly allocated and optimised keywords onsite we saw improvement in a number of key search terms.

We saw improved impressions and non-branded clicks tracked in Google's Search Console after we completed our work.

By aligning keywords correctly, we removed any cannibalisation ensuring customers land on the correct page from the search results.
