We’ve supercharged Solar Vision’s digital performance. In just 6 months, Organic and Paid channels have achieved 104%+ Leads, and 190%+ Website Traffic and the on-site Conversion Rate has climbed by 90%.

Organically, we’ve enjoyed a 450% increase in leads, a 2.5% consistent website conversion rate and a 63.67% website engagement rate. Our carefully targeted strategy has meant that we’ve sent 91% more users to the website; and simultaneously improved lead generation.

On Google Ads, through effective targeting, smart spending, crafting compelling ads, and optimising landing pages, we’ve achieved a 36% increased avg. monthly conversions, with a 110% increase in conversion rate and 131% more website traffic.

Solar Vision is the UK’s leading company for providing reliable green energy solutions for external solar street lighting and CCTV; offering the highest quality street lighting and CCTV solutions designed for main roads, residential developments, industrial parks, leisure clubs, schools, shopping centres and many more.

Whilst Solar Vision had a website, this was not enough to consistently generate quality leads; and the team relied on word of mouth for the majority of their new business.

Solar Vision needed an expert performance marketing strategy to achieve their ambitious goals; with an automated, scalable, predictable pipeline. This means the team can do what they do best… installing commercial Solar projects!

Strategy

We had 3 objectives:

  • Grow Revenue by 100%
  • Capture the search demand: send high-intent users who are searching for the products and services that Solar Vision offers to the website vs. a competitor website; and reduce the reliance on PPC.
  • Target Key Customers: Build awareness within key audiences from local authorities, developers, private estates and highways for increased confidence and valuable orders.

Looking at the Search demand, we found that users were searching for Solar Vision’s commercial solutions. We needed to get their website in front of the right users, at the right time and ranking above the competition.

Utilising Search channels, to capture the high-intent searches that users were conducting when needing Commercial Solar solutions; and optimising the website for conversion, to generate leads. With Technical SEO, Content, Digital PR and PPC.

Technical SEO Strategy

Technical SEO: To improve website Technical SEO performance including:

  • Reviewing the current parent-child URL structure and dictating the best format moving forward.
  • Full indexation review, identifying issues and making fixes to enable visibility in Google Search Results
  • A breakpoint analysis to highlight which devices users are coming from when they get in touch. Helping us identify if there are any usability issues from different screen sizes to improve the UX and conversion journey through the website.
  • Full internal linking audit of the domain to identify where internal linking and anchor text can be improved.
  • Improved CTAs across the site, to guide users. 
  • Product grid views to improve the UX and make browsing easier. 

To drive increased traffic, and improve the user experience on-site and conversion rates, for increased leads. 

On-site Content Optimisation: To rank in Google search results for users who are searching for product, sector or service-specific terms. 

Page 1 gets 86% of all clicks, so we needed to improve visibility in Search Engine Results Pages to drive targeted traffic to the website. 

  • Writing category page content for key pages; optimised for the high-intent keywords and phrases that users are searching for when looking for Solar Vision’s services. I.e. hybrid lighting. 
  • Review product page descriptions against key competitors and top-ranking providers.
  • Identifying and creating new category pages to engage and unlock opportunities within untapped markets. 
  • Review and creation of FAQs to educate users, build content depth and further improve keyword optimisation. 

Organic Keyword Improvement YoY

When we first started working with Solar Vision, the company was not listed in Search Engine Results Pages. Through our SEO strategy we’re now ranking, and climbing the ranks so that the Solar Vision website is being seen in Google Search Results when a user is looking for the products and services provided.

  • ‘Commercial solar lighting systems’ from unranked, to position 7

Content Strategy

Utilise our experience in lighting and LED solutions to create new content that drives traffic, generates enquiries and builds authority.

The primary goal was to create high-quality, informative landing page content that showcases Solar Vision’s expertise and attracts targeted audiences. The approach involved developing industry-specific content to address the unique needs and pain points of various sectors, utilising our best practices to ensure content ranks well in search engines. Some of the targeted industries included local authorities, private estates, car parks, residential areas, recreational grounds etc.

Alongside the dedicated industry pages highlighting specific applications of solar street lighting and LED solutions, a detailed content plan was created, outlining topics, keywords, and content types such as articles, blog posts, case studies, and guides. High-quality, informative content was then written to address industry-specific challenges and showcase Solar Vision’s solutions. This blog content includes:

The content creation strategy led to an increase in organic traffic to the website, driven by SEO-optimised content; with higher rankings and page views on newly created industry pages.

PPC Strategy

The strategy for Solar Vision’s Google Ads campaign was carefully crafted to achieve their business goals and deliver measurable results. Here’s an overview of the key components:

  • Precise Targeting: By leveraging advanced keyword research, audience segmentation, and negative keywords, the campaigns specifically targeted users with high purchase intent. This ensured that ads were shown to the most relevant audiences, increasing the likelihood of conversions.
